Welcome to the New Student Pre-Registration Website for the Livingston Public Schools.

Only a parent or legal guardian, whose is domiciled in Livingston, New Jersey, may register a new student.
Proof of residency is required at the time of registration.

 Before starting the online pre-registration process be sure to read all directions on the New Student Registration Page.

 If you are registering your child for the current school year please choose the 2023-24 school year and the appropriate grade level for your child. Please choose the first available registration appointment time to complete the process online. Once you receive your email confirmation, please email Amy Ennis at aennis@livingston.org and she will schedule you for an earlier time.

If you are registering your child for the next school year please choose the 2024-25 school year and grade KF.
We are only accepting next school year 2024-25 registrations for students in grade K at this time. We will be opening the other grade levels after April 1st.
If your child currently attends the Livingston Public School Pre-School program you do NOT have to complete the pre-registration online. Please contact Amy Ennis at aennis@livingston.org.

Entrance Ages
Kindergarten (KF) - A child is eligible for entrance into kindergarten who will have attained the age of five years on or before October 1 of the year in which entrance is sought.
First Grade - A child is eligible for entrance into first grade who will have attained the age of six years on or before October 1 of the year in which entrance is sought.

Available for your review is the LBOE policy on Entrance Age (Policy #5112).

Please make sure to print the pre-registration confirmation page before logging out. The Registrar will email you the week before your appointment with District Information. Please take the time to view it before your remote registration appointment.
The Registrar will CALL parents/guardians at the appointment time to review the paperwork and answer any questions they may have.
